The numbers are simply overwhelming and greater than any organization can solve; but when we hear their voices and know their names, we will all help. Compassion First Anti-TraffickingCompassion First has engaged a capital campaign towards the opening and operation of a series of top-notch transitional centers for sexually trafficked girls in Indonesia and the broader Asia/Pacific. The first center is scheduled to open in 2009. About Transitional Care Compassion First transitional care centers will provide all encompassing lifecare for survivors including housing, medical/dental care, life and spiritual care, reintegration services and education to the fullest extent of each child's abilities and dreams. Compassion First transitional care facilities will be staffed by professionals who will all recieve additional training from Transitions Global, a pioneer in next-level transtional care for victims of sexual trafficking. Once reintegrated into qualified families, Compassion First will follow clients with transitional and financial support through the completion of their education. About Indonesia Indonesia is particularly underserved where victim intervention and aftercare are concerned. Geography and economic desparity lend to conditions that make trafficking of humans a robust industry. Your Participation This project needs your help and will be fully reliant upon the generosity of those that give on a monthly basis. Please consider partnering with us. |

Less brutal than sexual slavery but, nonetheless tragic, is the forced labor of children in the absence of funding and/or opportunity for education. Compassion First has engaged two partnered strategies toward solutions for child forced labor in Sierra Leone. Education SponsorshipsCompassion First is providing case managed sponsorships for children forced to the street to work due to lack of family funding for school fees. Provision of school sponsorships are fully dependent on contract fulfillment by families committing to no longer utilize children as forced labor insuring the basic rights of sponsored children. Rural School BuildingCompassion First is partnered with church efforts in Sierra Leone to build and operate schools in villages where education is not available. Micro-enterprise strategies and co-op programs on farming equipment are engaged in exchange for family commitments to keep children in school during harvest. Compassion first will begin coordination school building teams and water project teams to Sierra Leone in 2009. |
