Volunteer

 Vernonia Outreach

Compassion First has partnered with Medical Teams International (formerly Northwest Medical Teams) to help rebuild and restore the community of Vernonia. If you are available and interested in volunteering, following are the areas of immediate need (Download the Volunteer Forms):

Field-based in Vernonia:
  • Restoration and rebuilding: skilled volunteers needed in all areas of the construction process.
Office-based in Beaverton:
  • Receptionist and light office work – 1/2 day to full day shifts
  • Accountant and/or numbers-minded resource
Tools and Materials:

If you have a resource for tools or other rebuilding materials that could be utilized for this relief effort, please contact Michael Do at (503) 672-8310.
