We recognize that prayer is what keeps our perspective on target; a simple action that is an expression of our belief. We pray because of who Jesus is—we petition because He is the Giver. We rejoice because He is good; we obey because we trust Him; and we effort to seeking Him because He will always be found. And He is always faithful—the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8); He is able to do more than we can ask or imagine (Eph. 3:20). Knowing this, we have the privilege of turning to Him in faith and love. He is the healer; He is the Provider; and He is always at work—and His work is always in accordance with His character.

And prayer changes us; it is a gift that we get to steward and an instrumental component in our pursuit.
