For the One

In the beginning, we said if we could affect the life of one girl, it would be worth it

In the early 2000s, our hearts broke after learning that children were being bought and sold for sex around the world. Compelled by compassion, we began to seek ways to be a part of the solution.

After conducting extensive research and studying the global situation, we identified the countries that required significant assistance but were being neglected. We focused on Indonesia, where child trafficking between islands thrives amidst law enforcement challenges.

With the support of local church leaders, we established our first residential home in 2010. Compassion First continues to grow as a living, breathing network of individuals who actively believe in the inherent value of all people.

Just like the biblical parable of leaving the 99 for the one. We believe in the inherent value of each person. This is our worldview: no one is forgotten by God.
